This recipe was one of the first that I tried when I began developing recipes. It isn’t an original recipe, however my surprise in how well it worked motivated me to get a bit more experimental with my own cooking!!
The creamy avocado gives the texture, plus the added bonus of its monounsaturated fat profile to support a healthy heart. This is a rich, nutritious, super healthy dessert option and would surprise anyone when you tell them what’s in it!
Ingredients
1/2 avocado
2tbsp chilled (thick) coconut milk
2 heaped tsp cacao
2 tsp maple syrup
Method
Serves 2
Blended all of the ingredients together until smooth and chill in glasses, in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, until it sets.
Serve straight from the fridge.
